More Cute Sayings

We went to the temple grounds for Family Home Evening to teach Preston and Eva about the temple. It was a very sweet experience. Preston liked it a lot. We sang "I love to see the Temple" and Preston sang the last word of every phrase. He remembers a lot of songs! Preston and Daddy explored the temple grounds (grass, hills, flowers, pathways, trees) while I fed Eva. He was near me trying to climb a tree and I asked him "What is this tree close too?" (Trying to get him to realize he was playing at the temple). He answered me, "This is HIS tree." So Daddy asked, "Who is "his"?" Preston answered "Jesus Christ." He just knew it!

We were singing "Nephi of Old" (We'll Bring the World His Truth) and we came to the line "of goodly parents who love the Lord." I paused after "who love" to let him fill in the words "the Lord" like he usually will. But Preston, after hearing "who love" decided to say "my Grandma." Very cute. He loves you Grandma!

Preston and Daddy have invented a hugging game. It is really sweet. Preston says "grande" or "pequeno" and Daddy gives him big "grande" hug or a small "pequeno" hug. He says "grande" in his big voice and "pequeno" in this little high-pitched sweet tiny voice. Man, adorable, I tell you.

Our neice, Preston and Eva's cousin, Sierra, who is about one and a half, really loves little Eva. Whenever she comes over she is always saying "baby Eva" and pointing to her or playing with her. Sierra was at her house and had a poopy diaper. Her mom asked "Are you poopy?" and Sierra said, "No. Eva's poopy." The next time she was poopy she just told her mom, "Eva's poopy." How cute!

Cute comments

Stuff while Grandma and Grandpa were in town...
Grandpa asks Preston to shake his hand.
Preston says: "Are you a prophet?"

Katelynne was riding in the car next to Preston and started messing with his hair.
He says: Stop! Stop!
Katelynne: Stop what?
Preston: Stop that yucky stuff! Stop doing yucky stuff to my head!

Every morning Grandma was in town (and a couple mornings after) Preston woke up saying:
Can I go to GGs house to see Grandma? or Where's Grandma? or I want Grandma.
He wanted to spend every waking moment with her.

There are a million more cute stories. I will have to be reminded of them later.

This one is from yesterday:
We arrived at church.
Preston: "What's that on top of the church? Up there on top? What's that?"
Mommy: "What's what? What thing on top of the church?"
Preston: "Up there. On top! It's, it's...It looks like a little door or something."
We taught him about the steeple. How cute is that? He is able to express himself so well!

Gotta go, but I will go remember more cute stories for later.

Some Summer Times...

Daddy carrying everything.

Preston playing with Grandpa on the playground at Salem pond.

Preston helped this little boy around the playground. When this little boy ran towards the street, Preston shouted at him "Don't go in the street, kid! Don't go in the street. Come back!" And the little boy listened to him.
